I am SO over Isaiah Washington! He should have never opened his big mouth, so he got exactly what he deserved. He is, of course, entitled to feel the way he does, but who doesn't have gay co-workers now a days? I have gay co-workers; many as friends. I would never criticize their lifestyle even if I don't agree with it. Firing him is long overdue, he should have gotten fired the first time he said it...hopefully this taught him a much needed lesson. Isaiah also PLEASE leave the race card alone...no racism Isaiah, just foot in mouthism!!! Suck it up and move the hell on; I, for one, am SO tired of hearing you whine and complain especially when people who get paid much less than you lose their jobs everyday due to no fault of their own....

Going on Larry King to state his case, and complain about how he was given a hard time because he's a black man who won't shuffle his feet and dance just because a white man says so is so cliche'. Isaiah Washington is doing more damage to his career by speaking out on his firing and claiming racism. He was not fired because he is a "strong black man". He was fired because he has anger problems and he's lucky that he was not fired before this. Get help, Isaiah!

Isaiah Washington is playing himself. This crap is exactly why some believe all blacks cry racism when things don't go our way.

Lest we forget that Isaiah started all this drama with what? A racial slur against homosexuals. All he's doing is creating sympathy for ABC. Isaiah needs to accept the fact that he effed up, be thankful he didn't get fired months ago & was able to finish out the season & get paid for it & move on.

I think he should move on. A lot of angry Black men play the race card or the I'm misunderstood card. How many times can you be misunderstood for the same poor behavior. At some point look at you and know that it is bigger than ABC. You can't treat people any kind of way and not at some point be judged not only by what you say but what you do. Going to rehab and all that was something he did because he was told to. What did he do on his own to atone for his ignorance. Break is up so Man up and take responsibility. Just like Imus. You can only get away with stuff for so long then your card gets pulled.
