I'm not sure about this one I googled them both Chaka and Aretha and Chaka still looks good with her weight. It may be Aretha, but you can't really tell cuz she looks good as well still.
Soul Legend might be the key word; If so that would Aretha. Not taking anything from Chaka but Aretha's been around longer and it looks like she's gained a pound or two and she still looks better than she did before she became ill and dropped weight the first time. Before anyone goes making nasty remarks - posted is just an opinion like everyone else has posted an opinion.

Aretha Franklin. I saw her at the Essence Music Festival and she's gained more than 40 pounds! p.s. Chaka looked fabulous!
Both of them. Aretha and Chaka. Love to eat. Aretha is too old to be fat. On the other hand both of them are.

Definitely not Monique, she has lost even more weight and is working out DAILY
