This man has achieved success in everything he has done (theatre, movies, books and TV). He wants to branch out in other areas, but Hollywood wants to typecast him in the same role. He is desperate to prove that he can do more, but he can’t get away from his most famous character.

Tyler Perry for sure. I'm starting to think his 15 minutes of fame are just about up. House of Payne was beyond lame, Daddy's Little Girls was wayyyyy too under developed, and I get so tired of him always criticizing the bootleggers. Tyler needs to keep it real....if it wasn't for those bootleggers you wouldn't be on the level you are today. The first time I saw, or even heard of the play Diary of a Mad Black Woman it was on a bootlegg DVD.
Why is it surprising that Tkik was being chased by groupies? HELLO!!! They're GROUPIES!! They'll chase anybody with bank.

oh yeah and i saw my first madea play at a friends house on bootleg too. Then went to the theater afterwards. Now the prices of his plays here in NY are crazy!!! The Beacon theater is busted. Times are hard... and he makes bootleg prices of 1 for $5 or 3 for $10 rrrreeaaalll tempting! LOL
