This R&B Soul Legend has seen better singing days. His career is ending as he deals with his legal issues. He puts on a brave front for the public, but his young family will have to fend for themselves while he pays his dues to society. His recent tour will probably be his last. Audience members were in shock when they realized he was lip singing his entire set. The Singer complained of not feeling well, but the truth is his singing voice left him years ago. His health is failing (stroke, kidney cancer, stress), and it shows.

With respect to 'I Love New York', I believe the show is 75% real and the production crew suggests that New York spice the show up to keep their ratings up for the remaining 25% of the time. However, if the show is staged, then Ms. New York must get paid an awful lot to act like the original fool and make women look bad. She really is a piss poor image of the strong Black woman, and hopefully most young men know that the majority of Black women do not act anything like her. Also it is my hope that young girls don't buy into her foolishness. It is an entertaining show for adults who are able to decipher b.s. If New York and Sister Patterson aren't related, they certainly look related, and the casting crew did a good job of finding two people who could pass as mother and daughter (in every way).
I'm not so sure about Sis Patterson and NY not being related but after seeing the Reunion Show I am convinced the whole thing is staged.
I don't believe they're related at all, they don't look much alike (just both ugly) and they have to be paid actresses used to boost ratings. Their antics are too over the top for me to believe they're real.
New York and her mother are so crazy that i love both of them. The show is a good reminder of how i will never act or behave in public or private. If Sister Patterson is not New York's blood mother, then she should be. Both New York and Sister Patterson deserve each other because they are both "over the top." The show is definitely entertaining, of course, when people are acting like idiots -- it's entertaining! God bless both of them because they are getting paid!

IF NEW YORK AND SIS PATTERSON ARE NOT RELATED THEY SURE DO LOOK A LOT ALIKE. YOU KNOW I WAS ONE OF THE ONES GLUED TO THIS SHOW AND WHEN I SEEN THE REUNION SHOW IT WAS VERY BAD ACTING BETWEEN NEW YORK AND TANGO AT THAT POINT I KNEW IT WOULD BE A PART 2 BECAUSE IT WENT THE SAME WAY AS FLAVA FLAV'S. EVERYONE ON FLAV'S AND NEW YORK'S SHOW MADE THEMSELVES LOOK LIKE IDIOTS. BUT YOU KNOW EVERYBODY WANTS TO BE A STAR AND WOULD DO WHAT EVER IT TAKES TO GET TO THE TOP EVEN IF IT MEANS DEGRADING YOURSELF AND MAKING YOURSELF LOOK COMPLETELY STUPID. SUCH A SHAME.

i think its ridiculous...I watched the last I love NY but wont look at this one... she is trifflin and ugly and for sister patterson to be a christian she sure does not act like one. Pluse who wants to be with her after sleeping with flavor flav and the others...
I believe that NY & Sis Patterson are related; but what happened to Bro Patterson??? NY's daddy was on Flavor of Love. NY looks just like her daddy, which means her daddy looks like he gave Miss Piggy's mama a roll in the pig pen. Hasn't anyone notice that NY looks like a black Miss Piggy?

I do feel that NY and Sister Patterson are related. I also like watching the show because I like supporting are black sister's. NY girl do your thing! I have no problem with you. At least you are getting paid compared to some of these woman in these videos that only get paid chump change or just a one night stand with these women husband's..

I do think the show is staged because women go through this everyday and I know it is way more better looking women out there than her.
